Due to the set-up and uninstall times plus the areas we cover, shorter higher periods are not a viable option for us. Our most popular hire period is the Long Weekend package for 5 days. We find this offers the best all-round value as it provides enough time for the hot tub to get to temperature and gives you the entire weekend (plus a bit extra) to fully enjoy your hot tub experience.
We will need a relatively flat level area to set up on. This can be a patio, paving, decking or your lawn. We have protective mats for our equipment for use on most surfaces. The area must be structurally stable and able to safely support the weight of the filled hot tub and added weight of the people using it.
We fill the hot tub using your water supply. You will ideally have an external tap and hose long enough to reach the hot tub. If you have hot water access this will mean the hot tub will get to temperature quicker.
When we come to collect the hot tub we will pump the water out into the drain specified which needs to be within 10m of the hot tub. We use a submersible pump to empty the water, this drains the water until there is around an inch depth left. We will have to tip the remaining water where the tub is situated.
From cold, the hot tub will usually take around 24hours to heat up fully. This can vary depending on climate and initial water temperature on filling. Once the hot tub has reached the required temperature it is important that the hot tub remains connected and on during the entire hire period to maintain temperature levels. You should also ensure the hot tub cover is secured back on the tub when not in use. This will stop the hot tub losing heat and help to get back up to temperature ready for next use.
DO NOT USE bubble bath or soaps, washing up liquid or any other chemicals within the hot tub. This also means products such a silly string! These chemicals or foreign objects will ruin the pump. If this occurs it will be classed as gross misuse and we will be looking to reclaim the cost of any damage.
We are sorry to say, but if you use a fake tan you cannot use the hot tub as it will cause lasting discolouration of the hot tub and result in a damages charge.
